This Privacy Policy explains how AMPLIFY ("AMPLIFY," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our website and services (the "Service").
Account information. Name, display name, email address, phone number, and password when you create an account.
Verification information. Legal name and date of birth, collected specifically to confirm you are a real person and to prevent duplicate accounts. This information is never displayed publicly and is accessible only to you and authorized AMPLIFY staff.
Profile and campaign information. Bio, genre, platform, rate, social media links, campaign details, budgets, and messages you exchange with other users on the Service.
Payment information. Payment card and payout details are collected and processed directly by our payment processor, Stripe. AMPLIFY does not store full card numbers or bank account credentials on its own servers.
Usage and device information. Log data, device and browser type, IP address, and how you interact with the Service, collected automatically.
Contact form and support information. Information you provide when contacting us, including name, email, company, phone number, and the content of your message.
We use the information we collect to: create and maintain your account; operate campaign matching, messaging, and payment features; verify identity and prevent fraud or duplicate accounts; process payments and payouts through Stripe; send transactional emails (booking confirmations, campaign updates, payment notifications) and, where you've opted in, marketing emails through Mailchimp; provide customer support, including through Zoho Desk; and improve, secure, and troubleshoot the Service.
AMPLIFY may use automated systems, including AI-assisted tools, to help detect fraudulent or duplicate accounts, flag potential policy violations, support internal analytics, and triage support requests. These systems assist AMPLIFY staff rather than making final decisions on their own for matters that materially affect your account — such as Creator approval, rejection, or suspension — which are made or confirmed by a human reviewer. You may request more information about, or human review of, any automated process that affected you by contacting us as described in Section 11.
We share information with:
Service providers who help us operate the Service, including Stripe (payments and payouts), Supabase (database and authentication infrastructure), Mailchimp (email communications), and Zoho Desk (customer support). Each processes information under its own privacy terms and only to the extent necessary to provide their service to us.
Other users, limited to what your profile settings make public — for example, an approved Creator's public profile, bio, and social links are visible to Artists browsing the marketplace. Your legal name, date of birth, and private contact details are never shared with other users.
Legal and safety purposes, where we believe disclosure is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect the rights, property, or safety of AMPLIFY, our users, or the public, or investigate fraud or security issues.
Business transfers, in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections.
We do not sell your personal information.
We retain account and transaction information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account as described in Section 6, subject to information we are required to retain by law.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you; correct inaccurate information; request deletion of your information; request a copy of your information in a portable format; and opt out of marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or by disabling marketing emails from your account settings. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information in Section 11. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.
The Service is not directed to, and is not intended for use by, anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected information from someone under 18, we will take steps to delete it. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us using the information in Section 11.
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the Service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may limit some functionality of the Service.
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit, database-level access controls (Row Level Security) restricting who can read or modify your data, and restricted staff access to sensitive fields such as legal name and date of birth. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
AMPLIFY is based in the United States, and information we collect is processed and stored in the United States and other locations where our service providers operate. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
For questions about this Privacy Policy or to exercise your privacy rights, reach out through our contact form.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by an updated "Last updated" date, and where appropriate, additional notice such as an email to your account address. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
